The Hexi-Hat is made by creating 6 equi-lateral interlocked triangles for the top (good introduction to modular knitting). Once the top is completed stitches are picked up for the side and knit down. The kit includes 125 yards of worsted weight yarn. You need size 9 16-inch circular and double-pointed needles to complete the hat.
